Ora Partners Announces Leadership Transition: Rhys Cahill Appointed CEO

Ora Partners today announced a leadership transition that marks the beginning of a new chapter for the firm. Puai Wichman, who founded and led Ora as CEO, will step into a new role as Executive Director. Rhys Cahill has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

That’s why I’ve chosen Rhys Cahill to step in as our next CEO. He brings deep expertise and fresh energy to guide our next chapter. I will remain actively involved as Executive Director and look forward to supporting Rhys and our team through this next stage.”

Rhys joins Ora with more than 20 years of experience in global financial services. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Australian Investment manager, Cooper Investors. Prior to that Rhys was COO for the Global Markets division across Australia and Southeast Asia, at Bank of America and COO & General Manager at Talaria Capital.

Known for his commercial clarity, client centric approach and collaborative leadership style, Rhys is deeply focused on building highly adaptable, resilient teams and sustainable value. His approach to operational integrity and strategic execution is well aligned with Ora’s mission and growth ambitions.
